Lexi Young is one of the 32 women vying after The Bachelor’s heart this February. Love is in the air ahead of Valentine’s Day this year and Joey Graziadei is ready to find “the one.” The ladies, who all hail from across the USA, work in all kinds of fields. Joey has his pick of women who work as radiochemists, actresses, ICU nurses, realtors, nannies, and more in season 28.

Digital strategist Lexi makes her The Bachelor debut this February. She stars alongside Maria, Jenn, Lea, and co as the ladies compete for Joey’s attention. Many of the ABC show contestants are opening up during their reality TV experience, raising awareness about issues close to their hearts. Lauren, Daisy, and Lexi share their stories on screen.

Lexi gets to know Joey on The Bachelor

Lexi Young is 30 years old and hails from Ohio but is now based in Atlanta, Georgia.

She works as a digital strategist and is super smart. Her ABC bio reads she: “graduated in the top 1% of her MBA summer program at MIT.”

At this point in her life, Lexi is looking for a “stable man” and really wants to settle down with “the one.”

Judging by her performance during the Mrs Right challenge in episode 2, Lexi isn’t afraid to go after what she wants in life.

Lexi’s dream

Given Lexi is appearing on The Bachelor, it’s clear she’s looking for love. But, she’s also ready to fulfill a lifelong dream of starting a family.

She explains on The Bachelor: “I have endometriosis, it will be very tough for me to have children. But, I’ve always wanted to be a mother.”

She adds: “I want to get married and I want to start building that family.”

Joey says at their dinner in episode 1, he thinks things “happen for a reason,” before they share a kiss.

The Bachelor star opens up

Lexi is now raising awareness about her condition as she shares: “I know I’m not alone in my story, so I hope sharing what I’ve been through can help others also going through their own endo journeys.”

Taking to Instagram on February 5, Lexi explains her symptoms of endometriosis emerged when she was “quite young.”

She tells her followers how her symptoms were “so bad” at times she would “pass out at work from pain.”

To try and understand the condition, she explains she would go to “multiple doctors appointments per week,” but was diagnosed with conditions she “didn’t have” and was even told the pain she was experiencing was “in her head.”

She explains in the post’s caption she was: “…ultimately diagnosed with endometriosis in early 2019 and had endometriosis surgery in April of 2019.”
