A young father has been killed in a freak workplace accident at a woodchipping plant after just two days on the job - leaving a devastated partner and two sons behind.
Tyler Neild, 28, died at the Oreco Group facility at Howlong, near Albury on the New South Wales and Victoria border, on Tuesday, with paramedics called just after midday.
'Tyler was an outgoing friendly bloke who worked hard to provide for Annie and their two beautiful boys. He was a devoted father and loving partner,' friend Kate Langley wrote on a GoFundMe page for the family.

'Sending love and support to a beautiful family,' one person wrote.
Mr Neild, from Snake Valley in Victoria, was a contractor for Oreco Group and had only been working at the facility for two days.
The father-of-two and his partner Annie Branch had just purchased their first house together two years ago.

The NSW workplace safety watchdog has also launched its own investigation.
'SafeWork NSW is investigating a fatality of a plant operator who died at a wood chipping facility at Howlong yesterday,' a department spokesperson said.
NSW Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
